Privacy Policy
How CloudCam iQ handles the information you share with us.
Last updated: June 1, 2026
CloudCam iQ LLC (“CloudCam iQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a New Jersey limited liability company, provides AI dash cameras, auxiliary cameras, GPS tracking, fleet telematics, and carrier‑agnostic telecom and connectivity solutions for commercial fleets. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights available to you.
1. Who this policy covers
This Policy applies to visitors to cloudcamiq.com and people who contact us or request a demo, quote, service agreement, or deal/SIM registration; our business customers and their authorized administrators and users; and drivers and other individuals whose vehicles, routes, or activity are recorded by CloudCam iQ devices and services that our customers deploy.
Our role. For fleet deployments, our business customer (typically the employer or fleet operator) decides what is collected from its vehicles and personnel and why, and is responsible for that data as the “controller.” CloudCam iQ generally processes vehicle, video, and telematics data on the customer’s behalf, according to their configuration and instructions, as a service provider/processor. For our own website, marketing, and sales activities, CloudCam iQ is the controller.
2. Information you provide to us
- Contact & business details: name, company, job title, email, phone, and mailing or shipping address.
- Account & transaction details: services purchased, billing and payment information (handled by our payment processors), service agreements, credit applications, and deal or SIM registration details, including carrier account identifiers (such as BAN or PT numbers) where applicable.
- Communications: messages, support requests, and anything you share by email, phone, web forms, or our portals.
3. Fleet, device, video & telematics data
When our products are installed in a customer’s vehicles, we collect and process the following on the customer’s behalf:
- Location data: real‑time and historical GPS position, routes, trip history, geofence events, and breadcrumb trails.
- Telematics & sensor data: speed, mileage, harsh acceleration, braking and cornering, idling, power or battery status, diagnostics, and other vehicle signals.
- Video & images: road‑facing footage and, where the customer enables them, in‑cab/driver‑facing video, auxiliary (side, dome, rear) camera footage, and still images.
- Audio: in‑cab audio where the customer enables audio recording.
- AI / ADAS event data: safety events such as collision, tailgating, distraction, or drowsiness detections, with the associated clips and metadata.
- Connectivity / SIM data: device and SIM/line identifiers and network usage associated with the cellular connectivity that powers the devices.
4. Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we use cookies and similar technologies to collect device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, referring pages, and general analytics. See “Cookies and tracking” below.
5. How we use information
- Provide, configure, install, support, and improve our products and services.
- Respond to inquiries and prepare demos, proposals, quotes, and orders.
- Provision hardware and cellular connectivity and manage SIM/line assignments.
- Operate the fleet portal — surfacing synced video, location, telematics, and safety events to authorized users.
- Detect, investigate, and document incidents and safety events.
- Handle billing, account administration, and customer communications.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
- With your consent or as otherwise permitted, send service updates and relevant communications (you can opt out at any time).
6. Video, audio & in‑cab footage
Whether in‑cab/driver‑facing video and audio are recorded, and how long footage is retained, is configured by the fleet customer that deploys the system. We process this content to deliver the service, support incident review, and follow the customer’s instructions. Some jurisdictions require notice and/or consent before recording audio or video; our customers are responsible for providing the required notices and obtaining the required consents from their drivers and passengers. Drivers and employees with questions about a specific deployment — including notice, consent, and access — should contact their employer or fleet administrator.
7. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed:
- Service providers: hosting, cloud storage, analytics, payment processing, communications, and the hardware and telematics platform providers that power our cameras and portal.
- Carriers & partners: wireless carriers (including T‑Mobile) and authorized partner programs, to provision and support the connectivity and services you request.
- Your organization: vehicle, video, location, and telematics data is made available to the business customer that deployed the system and its authorized users.
- Legal & safety: to comply with law, legal process, or governmental requests, and to protect rights, property, and safety.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the services, for the retention period configured by our fleet customers (for video, location, and telematics), and as required for legal, tax, accounting, or dispute‑resolution purposes. After that, we delete or de‑identify it.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing or marketing. Because much of the fleet data we handle belongs to our business customers, individuals (including drivers) should generally direct requests to the customer or employer that deployed the system, and we will assist that customer as their service provider. California residents (CCPA/CPRA) and residents of other U.S. states with privacy laws may exercise applicable rights; we do not sell or “share” personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising. To make a request, use the contact details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11. Cookies & tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality, performance, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.
12. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Third‑party links & tools
Our site and communications may link to third‑party sites and tools (for example, our scheduling, quoting, or deal‑registration tools). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision, and we will indicate material changes as appropriate.
