Installations & rollout

From “we’re interested” to fully live on your routes.

CloudCam iQ doesn’t just ship boxes. We design your camera and tracking architecture, coordinate installs, verify everything in the portal, and keep hardware supported long-term.

Plan installs around your real routes, shifts and yards. Standardize how each vehicle is wired, labeled and documented. Verify live video, GPS and health before vehicles return to service. Keep hardware protected with an optional $5 per unit monthly program.

Ideal for fleets of ~5–500+ vehicles across school transport, trucking, delivery, municipal and construction.

One clear path from inventory to sign-off.

Every fleet is different, but our process stays consistent. We move in stages so your team always knows what’s happening, what’s next, and when vehicles are ready to roll.

1
Discovery & design
We map vehicles, routes, depots and risk areas, then design a camera and tracking stack: Lite vs Plus dash cams, aux cameras, trackers and power options.
2
Scheduling & prep
Installs are scheduled around your routes—nights, weekends or by wave—so we minimize downtime. You’ll know which units are coming in, and when.
3
On-vehicle installation
Technicians mount cameras, run cabling, connect power and trackers, and label devices. Photos and notes are captured for each vehicle.
4
Portal verification
Before a vehicle returns to service, we confirm live video, GPS, events and health in the CloudCam iQ portal.
5
Training & handoff
We orient your safety, dispatch and maintenance teams so they know how to use the system and request support going forward.
Real fleets, real installs Fleet of school buses equipped with CloudCam iQ

Built for active, working fleets

Whether you run school buses, regional trucking, waste, paratransit or mixed yellow iron, we plan installs around your schedule—not the other way around.

Many customers start with one yard or region, then roll out to the rest of the fleet once drivers and staff see the value.

What actually goes on the vehicle?

Each install is tailored to your fleet, but most vehicles follow a similar pattern: a core dash cam, optional auxiliary cameras, a tracker, and smart power so everything stays online.

Vision CloudCam iQ Plus dash cam

Dash cam & interior views

  • Lite or Plus dash cam at the windshield.
  • Optional interior dome cameras for aisles or passenger areas.
  • Optional rear and side cameras for loading zones and backing.
Location CloudCam iQ OBD tracker

Vehicle tracker

  • OBD, hardwired or rugged Knight/Warrior, depending on duty cycle.
  • Live GPS, route history and diagnostics into the CloudCam iQ portal.
  • Optional asset and solar trackers for trailers and equipment.
Power & privacy CloudCam iQ powerbox hardware

Power & cabin options

  • PowerBox Max and wiring tuned to your vehicles.
  • Optional battery backup packs for critical views.
  • Optional cabin privacy cover when interior video must be disabled.

A typical “full stack” vehicle might include: Plus dash cam + interior dome camera + rear camera + vehicle tracker + PowerBox Max + backup battery. We’ll right-size this per fleet, not overbuild.

Lite only Forward dash cam + tracker
Plus + interior Dual dash cam + dome
360° video Plus + side + rear
Video + telematics Dash cam + vehicle tracker
Full stack Dash cam + aux + tracker + power

Keep your hardware protected with our service program.

Once your system is live, you can stay on the standard warranty or enroll in the CloudCam iQ service program for ongoing coverage on repairs and replacements.

With service program

$5 per unit monthly

  • Warranty and out-of-warranty repairs and replacements.
  • Unlimited warranty while enrolled in the program.
  • Simplified hardware support—no surprises when something fails.
  • We coordinate replacement units and support your shop on installs.

Without service program

  • Standard 3-year warranty on covered hardware only.
  • Customer is responsible for labor costs (we can provide labor separately).
  • Out-of-warranty issues are not covered by CloudCam iQ.
  • Best for fleets that prefer to fully own risk and repair process in-house.

You can decide fleet-wide or by group which units enroll in the $5 per unit monthly program. We’ll walk through what makes the most sense during your demo.

Proof that the install is doing its job.

A successful install isn’t just cables and brackets—it’s clean data and video in the portal. Before we call a project “done,” we confirm what you’ll see every day.

Map showing live locations of vehicles with CloudCam iQ

Live map & vehicle list

Vehicles appear on the map with accurate status, recent events and last check-in times. Dispatch and safety can immediately see that hardware is online.

Route history visualization with breadcrumbs

Route & trip history

Breadcrumbs and trip history confirm that GPS, events and video clips are tied to real routes—not just lab tests. Operations can answer “what happened?” in seconds.

Share your fleet details and get an install plan.

Tell us about your vehicles, routes and timelines. We’ll map out a rollout plan, confirm hardware recommendations, and follow up with a live walkthrough—no generic quote bot.

What we’ll cover with you

  • Your fleet mix: school buses, trucks, waste, paratransit, yellow iron and more.
  • Which vehicles need Lite vs Plus, and where to add aux cameras or trackers.
  • Best install windows around your routes (nights, weekends, waves or pilots).
  • How the $5 per unit monthly service program fits into your budget.

Fill out the form and we’ll respond with a recommended approach—not just pricing, but how to get from “interested” to “fully live” with minimal downtime.
