People who’ve lived fleet and telecom from multiple angles.
CloudCam iQ is led by people who have spent years inside wireless, telecom consulting, fleet technology and real-world transportation operations. We built the company around one idea: make safety, visibility and connectivity easier to understand, easier to deploy and easier to trust.
From scattered systems to one clearer operating model.
Before CloudCam iQ, we saw fleets and business teams juggling disconnected systems: dash cams from one vendor, GPS from another, separate providers for wireless, internet and voice, and too many manual processes in between. Even with all of that, answering simple operational questions was still harder than it should have been.
We watched good drivers go undefended because the right footage was hard to find—or was never captured correctly in the first place. Claims stretched on while teams hunted across multiple systems. Operations, maintenance and telecom providers all worked from different versions of the truth. Technology was installed, but not fully adopted, because the rollout was never built for real vehicles, real routes or real support environments.
CloudCam iQ was created to solve that with a more complete, better-supported approach: connected visibility, practical rollout planning, aligned connectivity and a team that stays engaged beyond day one.
- If drivers and teams do not trust it, the program will not last.
- If answers are too hard to find, adoption drops fast.
- If pricing is confusing, scale becomes difficult.
- If install and activation are messy, the whole rollout suffers.
Meet the people behind CloudCam iQ.
Two co-founders bringing together nearly three decades of combined experience across telecom, wireless, fleet technology and operations—with a long history of working as a unified team.
Sam Hassan
Sam brings 17 years of experience across wireless, telecom consulting and fleet telematics, helping businesses modernize connectivity, improve visibility and better protect drivers in the field. He is known by many colleagues and customers as a trusted advisor who can connect business goals to practical technology decisions.
He also brings real operational perspective as a former school bus transportation business owner, with firsthand experience around routing pressure, safety expectations, staffing realities and uptime demands. That background shapes how he approaches every program: practical, scalable and grounded in how fleets actually operate.
At CloudCam iQ, Sam leads sales strategy, partnerships and solution design, helping customers align video safety, tracking, wireless connectivity and business outcomes into one clear operating model.
Sebastian Carbonell
Sebastian brings 12 years in the industry, including years at T-Mobile where he and Sam became known as a highly effective team for complex, high-stakes opportunities. While Sam often led the front-end strategy, Sebastian was deeply involved in call center operations, pipeline management and supporting large multi-site programs behind the scenes.
He has a strong ability to turn complex deployments into clean, repeatable operating programs. Where many people see hardware and installations, Sebastian sees systems, workflows, accountability and long-term stability—the pieces that determine whether a program truly works after launch.
At CloudCam iQ, Sebastian leads operations, deployments and support execution, building the playbooks that help customers scale with consistency and confidence long after day one.
A program, not just a box of hardware.
When a customer works with CloudCam iQ, the goal is not just to deliver devices. The goal is to help the full fleet and telecom program land well, get adopted and continue improving over time.
Start with the real environment
We begin with fleet size, vehicle mix, routes, current tools, carriers and operational pain points so the program fits how the business actually works.
Build for adoption, not just installation
We map camera layouts by vehicle type, choose the right trackers and connectivity, and build install and activation plans around your schedule to reduce disruption.
Stay involved after go-live
We support owners, safety teams, dispatch, IT and maintenance, then help refine rules, alerts, reporting and workflows as the program evolves.
Principles that shape the way we build.
These are not slogans. They are the filters we use for product decisions, pricing structure, rollout planning and the type of customers we are best equipped to support.
Clarity for drivers and teams
Video and connectivity should protect good operators as much as they reveal risk. Evidence should be easy to find, easy to understand and useful when it matters most.
Simple wins
Clear workflows, understandable dashboards and straightforward pricing beat complexity. If something feels confusing, we simplify it or remove it.
Time kills adoption
If it takes too long to find clips, trip history, usage details or billing answers, people stop relying on the system—whether in fleet or telecom.
Programs, not one-offs
A camera, tracker or phone in a box is not a full solution. A well-planned, well-supported program with hardware, connectivity, rollout and accountability is what actually improves operations.
